Players must have a date of birth after or including 1 March 2004 (however exemptions can be granted in special circumstances).
The batting/bowling order for the U17's will be on merit and subject to the discretion of the Captain and Coach. However, where possible an effort will be made to give all an opportunity.
Players who train hard during the week will be looked upon favourably on game day.

2021/22 Season training
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30pm - 6:00pm at Saltwater starting from Tuesday 14 September. Players will also have the opportunity to train with seniors till 7:00pm after U17 training.

All of our coaches have a working with children check and a Level one accreditation. A number of our junior coaches have also obtained a Level 2 accreditation.
The start of the season is expected to commence early October, on a Saturday Morning from 8.00am. Players will be required to play at home i.e. Saltwater Reserve / Dunnings Road, as well as playing away every second week, which will require you to travel to other grounds in the Western region.
Players are required to purchase their own equipment, if required, the club has a limited range of gear that may suit (if COVID-19 restrictions allow the sharing of the equipment), please contact your coach for further information.
Point Cook Cricket Club is a not for profit sporting group and we rely on the support of every player's family to help in the following roles: Team manager, scoring, umpiring, club functions, match day helper and fundraising. This year the coach will prepare a roster for each family itemising your responsibilities each week.
